Phantasy Hockey 2010/11

Its back for the new season.  The rules are the same, there are some slight changes to the points system (shown below).  Please let everyone know and the deadline is Friday 24th September 11pm.

The teams are in the points are being calculated once the Team Accountancy form is through the league table will be shown

Q Will there be transfers A Yes you will be allowed to change up to 5 players.  All transfer must keep a balanced team, (see key point 1 below) and must be submitted and acknowledge by 9th January 2009.

Q  What is it? A Pick players from SIHC and they earn points from each game they play

Q  How do you score points?  A Points table below

Q  How much does it cost?  A 5 Pounds for a team and the winner will receive cash prize (the value will be calculated once all the teams are in)

Q What if a player plays for a different team?  A All players are specified from last year on their team they most played for.  If by chance you picked people down as M1, M2, M3, M4 & M5 and they all ended up playing for M3's then they would all score points in the games they played.

Q What if a game is played but the opposition have not paid their fees to the league and it is void A The game scores points as normal and the result is entered the way the game was played.  If the game did not take place no points

Q What if a player has to double up due to injury/selection A The player scores points for the team they would normal have played for (if unknown highest team takes preference)

Key points:

1) No value for any players, you must pick at least one player from each team (max two), M1 M2 M3 M4 M5 L1 L2 L3 and a new player to the club and yourself if you are a player.

2) Formation is 4-4-2 so a 1 x GK, 4 x D, 4 x M, 2 x F

3) Points will only be scored in Saturday League and Cup games (Friendly, Mixed, Sunday Cup games will not count), you can always pick up points for umpiring any league or Saturday Cup games.  If you play and umpire you can soon boast your points tally...  (Please note if you do have to double up due to player shortages you will only score points for you normal team as defined by the player team sheet for that week)

There will be the opportunity to transfer a restricted number of players at the Christmas break.  Also a small prize for the first half of the season and the second half will be given.

Please note the player list's have been complied on information from the last two years which includes appearances for 2009/10.  The team has be given on the most performances made for the club this has nothing to do with selection it is to divide up the players to enable people to pick you.  If a new player did not play in 2009/10 they will still be show as new.

Points will be updated and league tables will be shown on the website and notice board at the Ivo.  Any mistakes with player names, positions, goals, points etc will be fixed on acknowledgement email ben@stiveshockeyclub.co.uk.

The winner will be decided (on appeals shall be granted the final decision will lie with the management committee) and in the event of a tie the prize will be shared, please tell everyone about this and enter as many teams as you would like.
