On behalf of the Kit Officer – the club has decided to have the club kit on the website address below – as this is the first time of offering – there may be some teething issues so any queries please do come back to me and once settled down the kit office (Bradley Forsdick ) will take of things. I will always be available if required.

The club Shop will be open for two weeks and will close on 19th of October.
All orders will be processed and sent once the minimum quantity of ten has been reached.
Please add a pound on top of your final total for postage and packaging
Orders will be collated and if minimum orders met then the order will be placed within two days otherwise you will be notified accordingly.
The lead time for the order to be delivered will be 8 weeks and will be sent to the Kit Officer who will distribute accordingly.
Anticipated delivery date will be 16th of December.
Payments by cheque should be made to St. Ives Hockey Club and should be attached to the confirmation mail and given to the Kit Officer.
Required Size for your order will be requested upon checkout of your order so please place the correct size from the chart.

Dear All,
We are currently recruiting for volunteer camp roles for this years U15 and U17 High Performance Assessment Camps taking place from Friday 7th October to Sunday 9th October. The locations of the camps are at Weetwood in Leeds, boys (LS16 5AU) and Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Shropshire, girls (TF10 9AT).
This is a great volunteer development opportunity to gain experience in one of the highlighted roles below. Please also note that you will be able to claim expenses for the weekend, accommodation and food will be provided.
Please see attached job descriptions for the following positions where we will require the following for both Leeds and Lilleshall:
· Camp Director
· Assistant Camp Director
· Welfare Officer
· Camp Administrator
Please can you complete an email expression of interest to steve.turner@englandhockey.org with some background experience as to how you demonstrate that you meet the criteria for the relevant role based on the job specification, CVs can be accepted where relevant. Hi All,
The new season is fast approaching and in preparation for the club day on Saturday the 3rd of September from 1300-1700 followed by a BBQ.
Please can you all confirm if you are planning to attend the club day and also the BBQ - this to gauge the food ordering. Mail Kishor Shah at fixtures@stiveshockeyclub.co.uk
Please be at the club at 1230 prompt so teams can be organised and also bring a white shirt with you alongside the normal club shirt.
Match Fee will be £5 across the board and will include games and BBQ

Richard Munns has agreed to hold a Level 1 Umpiring Course on Sunday 25 September @ March Town Cricket Club, Burrowmoor Road, March from 9.30 - 16.30., cost £40 that incudes cost of course & exam fee - suggest bring sandwiches - tea & coffee making facilities available.

The Club is very sad to report the news of Mike's death.
He was a keen sports enthusiast and enjoyed both playing and supporting the Club for many years. He offered the Club a valulable role as Treasurer for many years, recent assistance with collection of match fees, supporting our games and attending meetings. He was always interested in the Club, its members and enjoyed the after match debates.
We will miss him very much and send Margaret and her family our deepest sympathy.
The funeral is on Thursday 19 May at The Crematorium at 10.45 followed by a Memorial Service at Hemingford Abbots Church at 12.00.

Many of you will know that I had the the mad idea of running the St Neots half marathon at the end of last year to raise some money for Help For Heroes. Well, with the motivation of your support i got round OK
I have seen at first hand the fantastic work that H4H do to rehabilitate the poor lads that come back from Afghanistan with some horrific injuries. It is a really superb charity and on their behalf I must thank you all for your generous support. To date I have raised over £1500.
