Match Report: St Ives 3rds 2 St Ives 4ths 1 A close result in this Club Derby. St Ives 3rds made a storming start with two quick goals that put the 4ths on the back foot. As both teams settled into the game it went for long periods in a state of deadlock, each cancelling out the others attacks. St Ives 3rds created an opportunity late in the first half and Cleland made the most of it by slotting the goal in. The second half provided further opportunities for each team. Strong defending by Jones, Bryden and Coxan and brave goal keeping from Rhodes deprived the 3rds of any more goals. Good creative play from Singh, Forsdick and England nearly resulted in an equaliser.
