St Ives started their second pre-season game with high intensity and good movement, applying pressure on the visiting Saffron Walden.
St Ives were rewarded for their efforts with the first goal of the match. A well worked team goal which saw captain Jules Griffiths find the back of the net.
Saffron Walden fought back and equalised. Ives continued to apply the pressure but eventually conceded 2 further goals. Further chances came for the home team but they were unlucky to score.
Player of the match went to Olivia Watson for her high work rate up front.
