St Ives 4s had their first proper home game of the season.
Things started well for both teams, with each probing the other's defence. Although chances came, St Ives were unable to find the killer instinct, missing two of their regular forwards this week. It was Kettering who found the net and secured a second before half time.
The second half saw St Ives with more of the possession and despite creating chances in the D, they were held scoreless by Kettering's goalkeeper.
St Ives look to travel to Cambridge next week, still searching for their first win of the season.
