St Ives got off to a strong start holding most of the possession in the first half. After a few penalty corner attempts we eventually managed to score with a beautiful slap from Anna on the left. Kettering came back strong and managed to equalise with a well fought penalty corner just before half time. We managed to keep our heads and started the second half strong with a wonderfully worked goal finished off by Rebekah. From here onwards the St Ives girls maintained possession and held on to the win. Man of the Match was deservedly shared by Ness (for spectacular saves) and Rebekah (for mad work ethic and productive team play). DOD went to myself (Hannah) for a plethora of blunders today. Well done ladies, let’s keep this up for the rest of the season.
