Spalding came out strong and St Ives sat back and watched for the first few minutes. St Ives finally woke up but it was far too late as Spalding scored an early goal. They continued to dominate st Ives in the first half scoring a further 2 goals. St Ives had some lovely snippets of play but failed to hold back Spalding in the first half. A strong half time talk from the captain caused St Ives to come out fighting in the second half completely stepping up their game. There was lovely passing being played down the lines and through the middle. St Ives won a short corner which Vicky Leighton Player of the match scored. St Ives continued to fight but couldn’t bring back the score. Spalding made the final score 4-1 with a last minute goal from a short corner.
